How to connect your already installed OJ Air2 controllers to OJ Air Cloud.

Only applies for OJ direct customers.

Anyone else should contact the person with the company they have got their OJ Air2 units from.

Due to security reasons it is necessary to apply the right cloud enable keys to the OJ Air2 controllers to get Cloud access.
It’s done in a few steps.

1. Readout the “MAC address” from the device’s that you want to update. The MAC address can be read from the web or from the HMI.
2. Send the MAC address or a number of MAC addresses in an Email to the responsible contact person in our CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT (Excisting customers only).
3. OJ will within 3 working days reply to the mail with a key file.
4. If the controller is updated to SW 5.04 then apply the key file “AHU_Cloud.key” to an SD card and insert it to the controller. Do not rename the file!
5. If the controller isn’t updated to SW 5.04 then apply both the SW files and the key file to the SD card and make the SW update. The update takes approximately 8 minutes DON’T TURN OFF THE POWER during the update! The HMI may indicate different failure messages during the update, wait until the home menu turns on.
6. After the update has been finished you will find the Cloud menu under the Communication menu. Here you activate the cloud and find the activation code.
7. On the OJ homepage you will find more information about the OJ Air Cloud benefits.

Additional information:

1. Up till 8Gb HC SD cards can be used from version 2.19. The SD-card shall have a MBR with msdos partition table, and the first primary partition in it shall be VFAT (or FAT32) file system.
2. The SW upgrade from SW 2.XX to SW 5.XX isn’t possible! Hence you must update to SW 3.XX and then update to SW 5.04 or higher. This is only possible if the label on the front says “SOFTWARE 3.xx READY”
3. Upgrading to 5.04 will require 3 files:
   “air2_v207_update_rd.gz”
   “version.crc” (1kB, 28-06-2019, 11:13)
   “air2_v504_update_jffs2.tar.gz”
4. Note that the old HMI (OJ-AIR2Hterm) don’t have the Cloud menu.
   Hence you must activate the Cloud from the web interface.
5. The keys only work with the MAC addresses that you have asked for. Be careful that you read them correctly.
