Over the past few years, the OJ Electronics team has worked hard to upgrade its DV product series. The result is a fully backward-compatible product that offers several new and improved features:
- Onboard vibration sensor
- Extended data logging
- Enhanced grid immunity
- Raised switching frequency
- The ability to change settings using low voltage
OJ DV GEN II offers a flexible installation design, allowing it to be mounted inside or outside the airflow and connected to IM and PM motors. It can be configured specifically for your application, and option modules and a cooling fan can be added to enlarge its use as well as a local user interface.
Design
The OJ DV GEN II removable front cover design allows easy access to the connection compartment and provides sufficient space for connecting the option module cables.
OJ DV GEN II can be controlled using a 0-10V or 4-20mA signal and through Modbus RTU or BACnet MS/TP. The digital input and output interfaces can be used to determine and configure the control method. Additionally, it offers over-voltage detection, making it robust enough to handle grid disturbances and survive in most types of grids worldwide. The drives come with a fully integrated EMC filter and meet emissions and immunity norms for industrial and residential areas according to EN 61800-3 (C1 and C2).
The physical dimensions, mounting holes, and connectors of the OJ DV GEN II are identical to the previous OJ DV drives. You can choose from our 13 power variants, available in 230/400/480 & 600V supplies and featuring all-condition performance, with CE, UKCA, UL, and CSA certifications.
