We are excited to announce the launch of our new OJ Air™ Plus ventilation controller. This breakthrough controller features several major advances – all designed to simplify the way controllers are integrated into ventilation systems, installed, commissioned, maintained, and used every day in building environments.

The OJ Air™ Plus was designed around a central insight we’ve gained over 40 years of producing ventilation controllers.

At OJ, we work closely with OEMs, installers, and service partners around the world. Over time, one thing has become increasingly clear: As HVAC systems grow more capable, modern controllers need to simplify work, not add complexity.

In designing the OJ Air Plus, this insight led to an intuitive web-browser interface that lets OEM engineers and technicians configure and commission the controller without specialized programming skills. In the interface, the ability to visually drag and drop components and signals makes it easier to build and prepare solutions that match the exact requirements of a specific air-handling unit.

For factory engineers, this means faster preparation of ready-to-install systems – saving time and money while improving the certainty of reliable operation and customer satisfaction.

More Effective Service

Technicians commissioning a system on site want fast setup times and a reliable system start-up. Service technicians need easy access to controller parameters so they can complete their work quickly and effectively.

This is why the OJ Air™ Plus includes an integrated Wi-Fi access point that allows direct wireless access without connecting to the customer’s network. Technicians can review settings, adjust parameters, and complete service tasks directly from a browser interface.

The controller also supports remote access through OJ Air Cloud™, allowing service partners and specialists to monitor installations, receive error notifications, and assist with troubleshooting. Faster diagnostics mean less downtime and lower service costs.

To simplify documentation and handover, technicians can also generate a complete commissioning report directly from the controller as a PDF file – confirming that the installation has been configured and is operating correctly from day one.

Even with these tools in place, one challenge remained: Different people interacting with the controller often have different needs. A service technician troubleshooting a system requires different information and functionality than a facility manager responsible for daily operation.

Drag-and-drop system design and guided setup tools for preparing ready-to-install AHU configurations.

Built for Modern HVAC Systems

Today’s ventilation systems rely on seamless integration between many components, and the OJ Air™ Plus is built to make this integration effortless.

Via more flexible I/O and Modbus data communication, the controller connects easily to BMS systems and to OJ drives, touch panels, sensors, and third‑party fans. Pre‑designed component views in the new web-based interface make commissioning faster, operation more straightforward, and diagnostics faster and more accurate than ever.
